I had the privilege of photographing B & A’s wedding at Bougainvillea Estate in the heart of Indio, California. The venue perfectly captures the California desert vibe with its palm-lined lawn overlooking a serene lake—a stunning setting for their ceremony.
The day was expertly planned by Carly Rae Weddings, who worked closely with the couple to create a seamless, stress-free experience from start to finish.
B & A exchanged vows outdoors on the lawn, surrounded by iconic palms and warm sunlight. High Noon Floral enhanced the space with arrangements that complemented the natural desert landscape beautifully.
Guests enjoyed cocktail hour by the pool, where playful pink heart floaties added a fun touch to the relaxed atmosphere. The reception took place outdoors under the stars, featuring elegant white oak tables and a well-curated bar. The DJ set the mood spinning vinyl records, adding a vintage feel that matched the evening perfectly.
The bride wore two stunning looks — her original gown featured a low back, oversized bow, and delicate pearl details, while her second dress was a chic mini with a rosette applique paired with kitten heels, blending classic and modern style effortlessly. We captured wedding party portraits against the iconic bougainvillea bushes, which really gave the photos that signature Palm Springs energy.
Guests enjoyed delicious food from Flavor Chef Catering and handcrafted cocktails from Mint Bartending. The retro-inspired wedding cake by Exquisite Desserts was a charming highlight with its playful Oui Oui design.
As the night unfolded, the dance floor—provided by Trejo Dance Floors—came alive with music by Dart Collective, keeping the celebration going strong. Fun moments were captured by the Desert Luna Photo Booth.
Rentals from SIG Party Rentals and BBJ La Tavola pulled all the details together, while Kohnur kept the bridal party looking polished with expert hair and makeup.
